PASSDRIVE / online preparation
Frequently asked questions
Short answers about city driving lessons, preparing for the test online, routes, prices and your PassDrive account.
What is PassDrive?
PassDrive is a platform for preparing for the city driving test online. In the simulator you can get to know the routes, practise with the traffic rules in mind and review your mistakes.
Does PassDrive give city driving lessons with an instructor?
No. PassDrive is not a driving school and does not offer booking of lessons with an instructor in a real car. You can use online practice as an addition to practical lessons.
How do I combine online practice with city driving lessons?
Before a lesson, get to know the route you want and note the sections you do not understand. Go through them with your instructor in the real lesson. After the lesson, repeat in the simulator the decisions you found difficult.
How many city driving lessons do I need?
No single number is right for everyone. It depends on your experience and on how independently you drive in the real world. Assess your readiness together with your instructor; a route driven in the simulator does not prove you are ready for the exam.
Where can I see the city driving test routes?
On PassDrive's public routes page you will find the cities, the list of the simulator's routes and their diagrams. Check the current official routes and exam conditions on the website of the MIA Service Agency.
Does a simulator route match the official one exactly?
PassDrive's diagrams and routes are practice material. Streets, signs and exam conditions may change. For the current version of a particular official route, use the Service Agency's information.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. The first route in Poti is free for everyone, without an account. Personal progress is not saved without an account.
What does preparing for the city driving test online cost?
See the current price of access to a city on PassDrive's prices page. This is the cost of access to the online platform and does not include an instructor's lesson or the state exam fee.
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes. You can use Google or sign up with an email and password. When you sign in with Google we use your name, email and account identifier.
Does PassDrive guarantee that I will pass the exam?
No. The result depends on your real driving skills, your decisions and the conditions in force at the exam. The simulator is an additional means of preparation.
How do I book the city driving test?
The exam is booked through the official channels of the MIA Service Agency. PassDrive does not take bookings for the state exam and does not represent the Service Agency.
